SUMMARY:
The Associate Director Marketing is primarily responsible for all U.S. Health Care Practitioner (HCP) Non-personal (NPP) promotions including HCP and Consumer Websites, Omnichannel and multi-channel tactical development, KPI establishment and ongoing performance tracking and management with the potential launch of REXULTI PTSD, pending FDA approval. The role engages closely with the alliance partner, cross-functional partners and Brand Team. It contributes as a key partner to the overall brand strategy and is responsible for its implementation across all promotional digital channels, informed through brand strategy, research, reporting & analytics, and industry trends.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Key contributor to the shaping and evolution of the brand strategy in partnership with the REXULTI PTSD marketing and cross-functional teams
Execute the brand strategy for REXULTI PTSD Marketing via NPP and promotional digital channels by utilizing sound marketing principles, analytics, and market research
Develop and optimize HCP NPP and congress activities, including HCP journeys, messaging, etc
Propose innovative digital solutions, ideas and tactics to elevate brand value by meeting unmet customer needs
Establish strong relationships with the alliance and influence alliance partners to ensure joint decision making that is sound and reasonable
Ensure Lundbeck’s needs and POV are represented in alliance interactions, cultivating trust and respect, and asserting when necessary
Participate and consult in brand planning
Serve as the Brand’s primary personal Digital cross-functional point with partners including digital solutions, data & analytics and market research to identify business impactful insights then pull through into marketing execution
Recommend and develop measurement plans and reports to help make business decisions
Leverage omnichannel and multichannel best practices to develop and execute website, CRM, media and in-office marketing tactics
Manage within relevant budgets ensuring projects are completed timely and within scope
Ensure all marketing projects are compliant and have obtained necessary approvals through the appropriate medical, legal, and regulatory review processes
Achieve alignment through collaboration and communication with: brand leadership, data & analytics, market research, sales training, finance, regulatory affairs, product communications, and other cross-functional partners.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree
7+ years marketing, sales, or other relevant commercial experience
4+ years brand marketing experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or healthcare industries
3+ years of NPP, Digital and/or Omnichannel experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction, influence others, and build consensus
Demonstrated ability to influence others and build consensus
Demonstrated relationship development with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a cross-functional team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, namely Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience managing third-party vendor/agencies, keeping them in budget and ensuring that their activities are aligned with brand strategy
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:
Marketing and media optimizations, social strategy and execution, campaign management
Specialty pharma industry experience
Experience in development and execution of promotional speaker’s programs, and managing congresses activities
New Product launch or indication expansion
Alliance partnership or co-promotional experience
Prior success with developing and implementing test & learn initiatives and driving business decisions with data & analytics
Prior DTC experience
Experience with OPDP and FDA requirements
TRAVEL:
Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically. Up to 50% for remote hires. International travel may be required
The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $180,000 - $220,000 and eligibility for a 20% bonus target based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in the company’s long-term incentive plan. Benefits for this position include flexible paid time off (PTO), health benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, and company match 401k.
