Additional Information About the Role

The Digital Media and Video Production Senior Strategist (Senior Video Motion Artist/Finish Editor) works in the enterprise's Marketing and Communications department as part of the full-service, in-house creative team. Reporting to a Manager, Digital Media and Video Production Strategy, this position is part of team of video producers that creates compelling digital media and videos for internal and external audiences to support business needs and marketing objectives for BJC Health System and its Regions.

Hybrid position; regular onsite meetings, and on-location filming as necessary, required; occasional regional travel may be required; willingness to work early, late, and occasional weekends as required for filming.

Ideal Candidates should have:Advanced knowledge in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects.Proficient in Davinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, Knowledge Blender or Cinema 4d, and Mocha Pro.Advanced understanding of color science/color conversion, post-production process, and workflow.Strong knowledge of finishing work such as VFX and color grading.Knowledge and workflows of contemporary cinema cameras such as RED, Canon, and Sony cameras.Knowledge of Digital Asset Management and proxy workflow.Overview

Develops, directs and produces video content for the company and its brands in multiple formats including online web clips, corporate videos, webcasts, product videos, and live events.

ResponsibilitiesDevelops, directs and produces video content for the company and its brands in multiple formats including online web clips, corporate videos, webcasts, product videos, and live events. Primary responsibilities include pre-production, production and postproduction of videos. This includes writing content, producing, budgeting, managing legal rights, project management, direction of video crews and/or supervision of editing. Video content may cover areas such as the company's products and services, sales, corporate communications, training, and / or conventions. Supported by other internal video production team members, including camera operators, video editors, as well as other marketing team members to produce video content that integrates with overall marketing objectives. May also work with and manage external video production companies and vendors to produce videos.Collaborate closely with creative teams, directors, and stakeholders to develop compelling video concepts aligned with project goals and objectives.Coordinate and schedule production logistics, including location scouting, casting, crew hiring, equipment procurement, production timelines, and legal contracts.Ensure adherence to production timelines and milestones, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to mitigate risks.Mentor junior production staff, providing guidance and support throughout the pre-production and operational phases.Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in video production to enhance processes and maintain competitive edge.
