Discover your place in our world.Serco is seeking a Photographer to support corporate communications and branding activities for a government agency located at LEnfant Plaza in Washington, DC. In this role, you will apply your professional photography experience and skills in a variety of different settings to capture still photos of people, places, and objects for use in a wide range of corporate communications.Citizenship and ability to obtain government agency clearance are required for this position.In this role you will:Photograph people, places, and objects in multiple settings including worksites, conventions/expos, product unveilings, and executive management meetings/functions across the USSchedule photo shoots and portrait sittings, coordinating logistics to ensure equipment, subjects, props, and locations are readyProcess images, select and edit images to deliver a finished productProcess RAW photographs, including digitizing, tagging, and archiving photosRespond to requests for photos for various corporate communications products (e.g., social media posts and business initiative documents)Organize and maintain digital library of illustrations, images, graphics, etc. easy retrievalProcess and deliver images on time and provide the RAW images with unlimited use rights to customerRespond to customer request to research specific photosQualifications:To be successful in this role, you will have:US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government agency NACI clearance (fingerprints required)Associate degree (equivalent experience may be substituted)Minimum 5 years of work experience in photography, portraiture/headshots and photo processingKnowledge of Digital Access Management systems (Extensis), Adobe Photoshop, color management, and printing across platformsExtensive knowledge of full digital imaging using DSLR and medium-format cameras to capture imagesCreativity, outstanding photography sensibilities, and production skillsStrong professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior level executives of a large organizationAbility to work without supervision, manage time, and meet deadlinesAbility to travel extensively, 25-50%Even better with:Bachelors degree in photography or fine artsIn compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $62037.42 to $93056.69; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.Company Overview :Serco Inc.
