As a Manager of Product Design, your role is to lead design innovation for new features and experiences on the PitchBook platform. You will lead a team of UX designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, and Research and Editorial teams. You will be an inspiring and collaborative design leader who will help raise the bar for UX design on your team.Primary Job Responsibilities:Lead new and holistic thinking across product areas and releases for the PitchBook platformDrive the creation and implementation of UX standards and best practices across the companyPartner with Product Management to work on feature prioritization, design, and implementationGrow and develop a team of UX designers; set a high bar for excellence in product designPresent designs to cross-functional stakeholders across the company, including the executive teamSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviorsParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree5+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction design, product designer, or similar role in SaaS or technology2+ years of experience managing UX design teamsA design portfolio demonstrating a history of customer-centric designExperience leading full life cycle design projects, from research and discovery to executionStrong analytical skills, using qualitative and quantitative data to guide design decisionsCollaborative, driven, and passionate, yet focused on building long-term relationshipsProficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

CompensationAnnual base salary: $210,000-$230,000Target annual bonus percentage: 20%
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.Working Conditions:We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day.
