Jacobs Senior CAD Designer (Civil) - REMOTE It is an exciting time to be part of Jacobs as our Energy & Power business continues to experience tremendous growth. We are working with established clients across the globe to deliver the Energy Transition.As a Senior CAD Designer, you will perform design/drafting assignments, requiring advanced working knowledge of design standards, practices and techniques using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and AutoCAD Map 3D while working collaboratively in a global team environment.Here is what you will need:Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certificationAt least 10 years’ experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or AutoCAD Map 3DAdvanced experience with ProjectWise. Navisworks (BIM 360 and SharePoint) a plus.Knowledge and experience with civil design projects including using data from topographic surveys, DTMs, and performing grading, and utility layouts.Proficiency with general office software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams).Ability to work independently and with various disciplines to manage multiple tasks and projects, as well as anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner.Ideally, you will also have:Knowledge of the energy industry.Understanding of project workflows from concept, detailed design, estimation, bidding, and construction documentation, administration, and support.Autodesk Certified Professional.Responsibilities will include:Setup projects in CAD, coordinate data sources and manage user access.Provide CAD leadership and production support for project teams, including Project Execution Plan documentation, project kick-off meetings, file exports and client deliverable coordination.You will be a part of teams diverse in culture and discipline, working to meet the clients’ needs as a cohesive unit.
