We are looking for a Graphic Designer for a top beauty company in New York, New York! You will focus on delivering assets from concept-to-creation for our product launches and activations, across key consumer touch-points with a focus on digital + social deliverables. You will create adhoc digital/social/brand requests, including digital assets for site refreshes, emails, and branded promotional assets. You will work in an agile environment, from creating mood boards and building out detailed photoshoot lists, through designing comps, design layouts, all the way to final asset QC and delivery of elevated assets. Working in a collaborative team environment you will provide on set support during photo and video shoots, including pre-production, production and postproduction. This means you will play a key role in creating, defining and enforcing our brand's photography styles, props, lighting as well as handling of post-production retouching and final compositions and layouts.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with project leads on a daily basis regarding current projectsPartner with our creative operations and management team to meet deadlines whilemaintaining a high level of qualityAssist with photoshoot needs from pre-production shot list development, comps, on setsupport, through retouching rounds and final photography deliveryOwn digital layouts from start to finish, through rounds of feedback from internal and cross functional partnersMaintain our brand DNA within everything you do while pushing it forwardCommunicate with cross-functional departments including product development and marketingas neededRequired Qualifications:
Team player, excels at collaborating and with a positive attitudeExcellent communications skills: we are a small team that works closely together through developmentand feedback to ensure alignment internally and with all cross-functional partnersExcellent design and layout skillsPhotography experience, ideal candidate has experience in pre and post-production including shot listdevelopment and retouching notesTargeting 5 years of relevant experience, experience in luxury a plusExcellent in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint, + nice to have Figma and AfterEffects experienceSelf-motivated and flexible; able to adapt quickly to changeBachelor's degree in graphic design, art or related field preferred but not requiredIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
