The Rescue Mission Alliance (RMA) is a Christian non-profit organization that has been serving the less fortunate in Southern California through emergency and long-term rehabilitation services since 1972. RMA partners with local churches to meet the spiritual needs of the people we serve. RMA Administration provides centralized Finance, Communications, Donor Development, Mission Support and Operations services to the ministries and departments of RMA.

Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing the organization's marketing initiatives to span across print and digital platforms and reach appropriate audiences; drive awareness, build trust, impact industry influencers and create online engagement, mostly through email, social and digital advertising. This is a full-time, exempt regular position located in Oxnard at Corporate Headquarters and reports to the Director of Communications. Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience; this position includes benefits.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage marketing resources for assigned projects while tracking progress against defined objectives and reporting results according to project timeline. Collaborate with donor development, ministry and thrift teams to build a proactive digital engagement roadmap. Oversee development and distribution of print and digital assets while working with external agencies and internal stake holders. Partner with internal teams to produce collateral materials to create a cohesive brand image and messaging for newsletters, print and digital platforms, website updates, event materials, presentations decks, and print communication. Plan, create and distribute paid ads and organic social media and analyze return on ad spend for ministry and thrift locations. Create social media content for digital channels. Record and edit video testimonials, commercials and promotional content. Interview and photograph guests at our programs for social, web and email content. Routinely inform Director of Communications progress and timelines. Other Duties & Responsibilities

Contribute to the execution of overall brand strategy. Support team in the execution of fundraising events. Attend and participate in team meetings. Promote a positive company image to the public. Stay up to date on the latest marketing trends and technologies and identify new opportunities to reach our target audience. . Supervisory Responsibilities

No employees report to this position. Qualifications

A solid Bible-based Christian faith, compatible with RMA's statement of faith. Strong team player, action-oriented and operates with a sense of urgency to complete tasks/projects. Strategic thinker, able to provide marketing counsel across the organization. 3-5 years of marketing, design and content creation experience. Strong track record for developing and driving comprehensive marketing strategy with a focus on digital. Strong understanding of social media marketing, CRM systems and campaign management tools. Solid analytical skills, with the ability to measure and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness. Education in marketing or equivalent; required Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Valid California driver's license and insurable under RMA. Skills

Make sound decisions and form independent judgements. Able to have a high level of autonomy and skills to make decisions and manage tradeoffs. Excellent written, e-mail, and telephone correspondence skills. Keen time management skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time. ork Environment

This position will function to a large degree in an office environment. As a part of normal duties this position will also be in facilities with an at-risk population where errant behavior and disease risk may be present. Appropriate safety considerations will be required to avoid illness or injury.
