The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. Responsibilities: Work cross-functionally across sales & marketing functions to create a fun, exciting, and memorable dispensary experience for our customers. Act as an enthusiastic brand ambassador, driving excitement & engagement, building industry relationships, and identifying influencer opportunities to boost our digital presence. Support the marketing team in the field through best-in-class implementation of marketing activations, including but not limited to: ideating & executing in-store & Boston-area events, guerilla marketing opportunities, & social media content creation. Work collaboratively with Buying teams to monitor customer trends, identify assortment opportunities, and report on product sell-through to ensure high-demand products are always available & in-stock. Ideate & implement promotional opportunities, from flash sales to loyalty programs, to maximize customer engagement. Act as a leader in-store to boost sales, encourage staff, & merchandise displays. Engage with customers, sharing your expertise and passion to create a great experience. Always represent the brand and company in a positive and professional manner. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and clearly communicate product details and benefits to customers. Provide regular reporting & insights to the Marketing & Buying teams. Qualifications: At least 1 year retail sales, buying, marketing, or event management experience. Highly approachable & friendly person who is skilled in relationship building. Obsesses over detail, with strong analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Highly creative with experience in creating engaging marketing activations. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cannabis sales & marketing. Professional, positive demeanor with customers and fellow staff members. Ability to adapt to new rules, regulations, products, systems and team members at any given time. Well-versed on cannabis products and various methods of consumption. Knowledge of state rules and the ability to keep the establishment compliant. Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a current Marijuana Establishment Agent Registration Card.
