Role Overview

Field Marketing Specialist: TexasDesired Location: Houston, TX; no office with regular travel in home city and across assigned stateThe Field Marketing Specialist will be responsible for bringing Au Vodka to life in your assigned territory. As the #1 Super Premium Vodka in the UK, Au was built through disruptive content and activation, creating consumer connection through music and culture. Building Au Vodka in the US will be no different, with brand activation, local content creation, and memorable experiences your primary deliverables. You will work alongside our sales team, supporting brand growth and sales goals by creating and executing local marketing and activation plans.

Responsibilities

As part of US marketing team, plan and execute field marketing activities in your assigned territory and focus city.Build and execute field marketing activation plans based on Au brand guidelines, growth priorities, and local budget.Build a local marketing calendar for your state, highlighting key focus periods and programs.Partner closely with state sales team to support sales objectives and account relationships with appropriate marketing tactics.Manage ordering, inventory, and execution of all retail and POS point of sale needs, leveraging existing assets and identifying new ones where needed.Plan, oversee, and execute all brand events and activations, following brand guidelines and compliance requirements.Capture and create content in market at accounts and events to feed the Au content machine, bringing the brand to life for our social media community.Identify, recommend, and manage local talent, influencers, and brand partners.Develop and oversee local sampling program, including standards and agency management.Complete and share post event and program recaps, assessing ROI marketing activities, continuously improving effectiveness and sharing best practices with broader commercial team.Work with finance and sales teams to track actual marketing spend vs budget, while maintaining an up to date forecast.Represent Au Vodka in your city, showing up and working planned events and brand executions.

Required Skills and Experience

3+ years experience in brand activation, ambassador, or a field marketing role.Basic competence in Microsoft Office for planning and sharing activities and budgets.Ability to manage a holistic budget for multiple programs and activities, as well as for individual events.Demonstrated experience creating content for social media.A fast and curious learner that’s eager to grow with the brand.Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic discipline and good decision making skills.Excellent people and teamwork skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated, always striving to create and improve.Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends based on job needs.Valid driver’s license.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Beverage industry preferred, relevant CPG or entertainment industry experience considered.Identifying and managing talent and influencers.Strong personal brand, local connections, and social media following.
