We are seeking a Senior Proposal Writer with demonstrated expertise in developing and writing compelling proposals, specifically related to environmental compliance projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Department of Energy (DOE) proposals and a understanding of the regulatory and environmental landscape. The Senior Proposal Writer will be responsible for creating persuasive proposals that align with Navarro's strategic goals and client needs, ensuring high-quality submissions that enhance our chances of winning new contracts.
Lead the development and writing of high-quality, persuasive proposals for environmental compliance-related projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, project managers, and business development leads, to gather and synthesize information required for proposals.Translate technical and regulatory requirements into clear, compelling narrative responses that align with solicitation requirements and client objectives.Ensure compliance with RFP instructions and federal guidelines, with a focus on DOE requirements.Manage proposal schedules, track deadlines, and coordinate inputs from various contributors.Conduct research to stay updated on DOE regulations, environmental policies, and market trends to strengthen proposals.Review and edit proposal drafts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in messaging.Develop templates and boilerplate content to streamline future proposal efforts.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Environmental Science, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal writing, with experience writing proposals related to environmental compliance.Proven experience writing proposals for Department of Energy (DOE) projects.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Familiarity with federal government proposal processes.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
