You will lead complex experience design projects in the video and audio space, collaborating with a talented team of designers and a dynamic group of creatives, product managers, engineers, researchers, and writers who highly value creativity, collaboration, and human-centered design.Your Role Accountabilities...Lead and collaborate on end-to-end design projects, from ideation to implementation, crafting intuitive, elegant, and innovative user and ad experiences across platforms and devices.Formulate comprehensive design frameworks and guidelines to establish strategic and foundational pillars for projects and teams, ensuring consistency and quality in product and ad experiences.Utilize prototyping and research to validate and refine solutions, pushing boundaries and incorporating the latest trends and best practices in user-centered and ad design.Partner effectively with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, product management, marketing, sales, etc.) and external agency partners to drive progress, uphold standards, and advocate for exceptional customer experiences.Offer constructive feedback and creative direction to fellow designers and cross-functional partners, fostering a collaborative environment that elevates the overall quality of design work.Facilitate productive cross-functional working sessions, guiding brainstorming efforts, gathering feedback, and ensuring diverse perspectives are considered to inform design decisions.Present ideas and creative solutions with compelling storytelling, backed by clear reasoning, research insights, and a user-centric mindset, to engage and persuade stakeholders.Contribute to a positive and supportive culture that fosters innovation, creativity, and collaboration, ultimately empowering the company to deliver compelling, memorable user and ad experiences.Qualifications & Experience...8+ years of professional experience in consumer-facing product design, with demonstrated success in product features and ad experiences. Agency experience is a plus.Proven experience leading and participating in product/brand design projects of varying scales, globally, across platforms and devices, preferably in the media/tech space.A portfolio showcasing a user-centered design approach and ability to craft thoughtful, elegant solutions to complex product and creative challenges.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect individual features/creative elements to the overarching product/ad experience strategy, systematic and effective interaction models.Passionate about exploring new possibilities in design and interaction, particularly at the intersection of consumer experiences and advertiser needs.Experience leveraging metrics to inform design decisions, experiment, and iterate, demonstrating a data-driven approach to optimization.Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Ability to articulate creative work and complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences at all levels.Expertise with industry-standard design and collaboration tools, including Figma, Principle, Adobe After Effects, Keynote, and others.Strong knowledge of product design best practices and work environments, such as agile development, lean UX and ideally, AdOps.Self-starter who can work independently while remaining a communicative and accountable project owner.Effectively manages multiple projects simultaneously, seamlessly switching contexts between product features and ad experiences.Capable of guiding, mentoring, and motivating designers of all levels, setting a high bar for design quality and strategic thinking within the team.How We Get Things Done…This last bit is probably the most important! Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $109,900.00 - $204,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
