Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.The RoleWe have an opportunity for a Senior Designer to join our Façade Practice. This individual will be responsible for the detailing of facades and running relevant analyses, materials, and systems research, and coordinating project work with the team. Must be conscientious and creative, detail-oriented, and professional with attentiveness to client communications.

ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes façade performance with specialized software (i.e. loading, thermal analysis, condensation risk, geometry).Research materials and systems to determine specific project suitability.Interprets building codes and project/design/construction specifications.Prepares façade detailing in 2D and 3D format for client communication.Assists in construction administration, responding to RFIs, and organizing submittal logs.Attends construction meetings, performs site inspections, and prepares field reports for clients.Interacts with team members and clients regarding project information.

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture. Master’s degree preferred.Must have façade experience for small-scale projects.Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.

CompensationThe rate for this position generally is $80,000 - $90,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee’s pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
