GEICO is looking for an accomplished, customer obsessed, and results oriented Senior UX/UI Designer. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of business partners and delivering design solutions. Collaborates with customers, engineers, and product management to determine design requirements, create mockups, user workflows, conduct user research, and provide feedback.

You will work directly with product management to develop solutions that achieve our customer and business needs. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary design and research team that values people, human-centered design and a growth mindset.This designer role will focus on improving the agent experience across various segments and channels, including understanding agent pain points, framing problems, ideating unique solutions, and testing relentlessly with our agents. We work closely with agents and internal partners, so a passion for collaborating and thinking differently will be key in this role.This position is a hybrid role that requires being on-site 3 days a week at one of the following locations:Chevy Chase, MD; Chicago, IL; Fredericksburg/Richmond, VAJob Responsibilities

Collaborates with product, engineering, and business teams to uncover customer and business needsTranslates complex ideas into understandable concepts and solutions that evolve and enhance the product experienceManages through shifting priorities to provide clear direction and input on product prioritization and support early product definitionAdvocates for the customer through human-centered design methods, including discovery, research, and user testingFacilitates and participates in workshops with internal and external stakeholders to align with business needsCreates process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and user interface specificationsDelivers design assets for acceptance, development, and delivery to market in partnership with engineeringBasic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience (or 3+ with Masters degree) with User Experience designExperience designing for cross channel e.g. responsive web and native mobile interfacesPreferred Qualifications:
