Work From HomePer Lambda Legal’s Work Location Designation policy, Work from Home, Work from Office, and Hybrid options are available with supervisor approval.Generally, employees can live in any of the states that fall within the Combined Statistical Area (CSA) boundaries of their Office of Record as long as they reside within three (3) hours of their Office of Record by ground transportation or ferry. $77,867 - $131,365. The salary for this role will be based on a step scale and will be determined by a candidate's years of relevant experience related to the position, as well as their geographic region.Travel :

We believe that serving the full breadth of the LGBTQ+ and HIV communities requires cultural competency and enthusiasm for diversity of all kinds.What you'll do:Principal responsibilities include partnering with the department leadership to develop innovative communications strategies, unifying an overarching Lambda Legal narrative, guiding a nationwide Lambda Legal story across a network of regional offices, monitoring and measuring messaging objectives, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and building capacity among communications professionals.Establish narratives and targets for extending our reach and deepening our engagement with supporters.Work closely with those contributing to and executing said campaigns within Communications and other departments.Foster integration of communications, mobilization, and fundraising objectives.Support with breaking news and crisis communications.Ensure the overarching Lambda Legal story continually evolves and is translated into consistent individual campaign and project strategies.Collaborate with consultants in developing ambitious nationwide audience-centric storytelling.Work closely with the Legal Team and key stakeholders to uplift our attorneys' media relations.Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned.Who you are:Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in developing new communications strategies and leading campaign initiatives.A track record of delivering audience-centric communication strategies.Understanding of audience segmentation and brand communication techniques.Experience in implementing significant positive changes in work culture.Strong influence and ability to persuade in communications.Strong analytical skills.Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.Experience working effectively under tight deadlines.Commitment to the mission of Lambda Legal.Understanding of integrating commitment to combating intersecting forms of discrimination.Successful candidates will welcome the opportunity to work in a diverse environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
