(e.g., connect clients with stakeholders at the global, regional and local levels)Navigate complex issues

The individual should possess excellent diplomatic and client relations skills, an energetic and flexible management style and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding and entrepreneurial environment.This is a full-time, New York-based position.Specific responsibilities include:CommunicationsMaking complex concepts accessible and actionable

to a wide audience by developing strategies for creating key messages, fact sheets, social media posts and other creative communications products, leveraging trends and mobilizing teams accordinglyBuilding strong relationships with top-tier media outlets

to secure impactful coverage on behalf of clients.Elevating the voices and expertise of high-level influencers

by polishing opinion pieces at key moments, prepping them for interviews and providing ongoing counselAdvocacyIdentifying strategic moments and champions

to influence target stakeholders and amplify our clients’ goalsGetting partners on the same page

through careful coordination, relationship management and message alignmentOverseeing high-level events , including identifying invitees and speakers, and developing agendas or presentationsBuilding new coalitions of support for an issue

with dedicated outreach, organization and relationship managementClient/Project ManagementOverseeing

all major deliverables, including developing a vision and strategy and delegating work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentManaging

client relationships and accounts, ensuring needs are met, budgets are on-target and executive management is kept apprised of project developmentUnderstanding

background and nuance across our priority issue areas to form compelling arguments and provide strategic counsel to clientsCoaching

junior staff members on writing, client-facing interactions and time management skillsServing as a member

of the senior management team, helping drive business development, organizing and attending events and meetings with senior management and representing the firmRequired Qualifications7-10 years of work experience, preferably including time spent in or adjacent to the pharmaceutical industryDeep expertise in communications and media relationsExceptional writing ability with emphasis in persuasive writingExperience managing client relationships and mentoring teams to achieve ambitious resultsExperience managing budgetsCreative and collaborative management style with a hands-on approach to project management (i.e., willingness to “roll up one’s sleeves”)Valuable QualificationsForeign language skills (French or Spanish, in particular)International work experienceCommunications agency experienceMaster’s degree in a related fieldExperience with Adobe Suite of creative tools (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or CanvaCompensation offered will be dependent on the hired title and level, ranging between 115-140k
