The Senior Designer will work on a large range of print and event projects for the Dotdash Meredith Lifestyle Group including Better Homes & Gardens, REAL SIMPLE, AllRecipes, Magnolia Journal, Southern Living, Midwest Living, and SIM's.II. Essential Job Functions

- Work with the creative team to execute projects ranging from advertising layouts, sell sheets, digital ads, email, event collateral, micro-sites and mockups.20%
- Concept, design and execute presentations, mood/storyboarding and advertising comps. Manage print process from concept to design to releasing for print.10%
- Partner closely with project managers in terms of meeting deadlines and creating timelines. All other duties as assigned.III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in design or related field; or equivalent training and/or experience.Experience:
7-10 years working for a magazine brand that also has a web/digital presence.Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Solid typographic/layout design skills.Comprehensive understanding of printing techniques and print production.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members.Efficient time management and organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Keynote, Powerpoint, and Google Suite.Extreme attention to detail and consistency of work.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment and work both independently and as part of a team.% Travel Required

Salary: $64,960 - $92,800The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
