Senior Interior Designer

Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. (EUA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Designer with 10+ years of experience in the field. This person uses judgment in assignments that have clear and specified objectives with a limited number of variables. Reporting and working under the direction of a Project Manager, they should be skilled at space planning, finish selections, furniture selection and specification, millwork detailing, and finish/furniture cost estimating. Client management and presentation skills are also required.

Ability to take direction on projects, but also able to take project leadResponsible for programming of all phases of the Interior Design processSkilled at space planning, finish selections, furniture selection and specification, millwork detailing, and finish/furniture cost estimatingTeam coordination and collaborationAssists in design development (aesthetic skills)Prepares construction documentsResponsible for furniture selection and specification, including coordination from selection and production through bidding and installationResponsible for creation of division 9 through 12 specificationsResponsible for interior detailing (millwork, walls, ceilings, floors) using appropriate techniques in RevitMaintains personal knowledge of current available products and furnishingsProvides mentoring and direction to Internal Project Team with respect to designAbility to maintain a positive attitude and exhibit integrityExceptional organization and communication skillsAbility to solve problems proactively and prioritize tasks and assignmentsOther duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

A minimum of 10+ years of experience in Interior DesignBachelors Degree in Interior Design or similar fieldCertified Interior Designer (NCIDQ exams) requiredConfident and comfortable speaking with others and presenting ideasSuperb client management skillsExperience in Revit preferred
