We are currently seeking a dynamicContent Marketing Specialist, with a strong background in storytelling, developing relationships, and executing content plans. The role involves collaborating with several teams across CFT to create engaging content that helps execute strategic content plans connecting with diverse audiences.Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications, the Content Marketing Specialist will elevate CFT's brand and program impact through storytelling across various platforms, including websites, blogs, newsletters, videos, reports, graphics, social media, and printed materials. The ideal candidate will be a confident storyteller with a strategic mindset, capable of translating complex topics into easily understandable content. They will be experienced in conducting interviews and capturing photos and/or videos then developing content from these materials. Expertise in relationship management, strong content creation and content marketing skills are essential to inspire audiences throughout the North Texas community.The desired candidate should have a passion for making a positive impact in the community, along with a basic understanding of philanthropy. The position is based in the Dallas office.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications to execute a versatile content strategy across multiple media channels, such as audio, video, print, digital, and social platforms.Coordinate, write, edit, and produce a variety of communication materials, ensuring they resonate with the intended audience.Provide expert copywriting and light design support for marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations, email communications, event invitations, website content, and advertising.Manage the strategic content calendar.Collaborate with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications department to execute and amplify stories through appropriate channels.Serve as a CFT ambassador in the community, engaging confidently with high-profile individuals, nonprofit organizations, and diverse community members.Work with internal staff and partners to plan and support marketing and communication needs.Qualifications / Skills / RequirementsDegree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in content creation, focusing on both the creative process and hands-on execution.Exceptional ability to build relationships and confidently engage with diverse community groups, including high-profile individuals and nonprofit organizations.Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, capable of creating compelling content for various audiences.Excellent attention to detail and grammatical skills.Proven capability to work independently and in a team environment.Familiarity with Marketing Cloud and Salesforce is a plus.A basic understanding of community foundations, development, philanthropy, and nonprofit sectors is beneficial.Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.Proficiency in project management, time management, and organizational skills. Experience and comfort with using a project management system, such as Asana, is highly desired.Demonstrated capacity for innovative thinking, with a multiplatform approach to problem-solving.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.Effectively model and demonstrate CFT’s core competencies which include Collaboration, Impact and Problem Solving, Integrity and Accountability, Learning, and Internal and External Service.Disclaimer: The above sections contain representative examples of job duties that might be performed by employees assigned to this classification.
