Overview: Manages communications within the division to keep staff fully aware of major issues. Manages ICS skills delivery across all curriculum levels. Leads the professional development training team responsible for the facilitation and delivery of virtual and in-person learning sessions specific to ICS systems and processes. Manages ICS intranet content to ensure currency of information and job aids. Responsible for coordinating scheduling and capacity planning of the team, leveraging data-driven decision-making to determine course offerings based on audience demand and strategic objectives. Executes internal culture-building initiatives and distributes information on division strategies and priorities.

Communication:Work with ICS business line leadership to develop, manage, implement, and evaluate internal communications related to sales, service, operations, change management, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives.Identify, prepare and implement plans for significant organizational announcements and respond to employee inquiries.Work with ICS division management on all employee communications and training-related issues. Advise and set communications and training strategy.Manage ICS divisional intranet and Community One channels, including content design.Build relationships with key business partners, solicit their feedback, and understand their needs to ensure the delivery of appropriate communications and learning content.Partner closely with ICS Marketing when applicable specific to content, external client communications and internal communications.Training:Partner with Corporate Learning and Development teams to improve the participant experience, provide coaching and feedback to develop facilitators and selectively use tools and assessments to drive outcome achievement.Supplement internal delivery using select external facilitators, senior and executive management as required.Link manager and leader training as required by the results and need for action resulting from the Employee Engagement survey.Review industry trends and evaluate program delivery to ensure it is relevant within the market and industry and meets organization needs. Recommend and implement changes to program delivery as necessary.Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.Complete other related duties as assigned.Scope of Responsibilities: The position serves as trusted consultant to senior managers on new employee development and performance management. The jobholder should have an advanced understanding of leadership and its practical applicability in the workplace, and the methods of instruction, as well as an understanding of pedagogical theory and its use in employee development programs.Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: No. of Staff - 3Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years’ higher education, including a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience.Minimum of 2 years’ proven managerial, supervisory and/or work leadership experience.Proficiency with personal computers.Knowledge of contemporary communications channels.Proven design and publication skills.Education and Experience Preferred: Prior communications and/or learning and development experience.Physical Requirements: Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States of America
