Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Manager - UrgentVet

Reporting To: Wendy Knafla

Description

We're looking for an all-around marketer to join our busy department. In a rapidly growing group of urgent care veterinary hospitals with locations across 3 time zones.

The UrgentVet Marketing Manager is full-time, remote, with daytime working hours. The marketing team is accessible to one another and our stakeholders via email, cell phone, and Microsoft Teams throughout the workday. There are also scheduled calls with vendors, departments, and committees. In addition, this role supports hospitals open later in the evening, so on occasion, an after-hours question or minor need may arise.

This ideal candidate is someone who has a firm grasp of the components of marketing with special attention to the digital arena and who can manage some of these. A few examples: business account setup in Google Business, Apple Maps, Yelp, Facebook & Instagram; review monitoring in BirdEye; and social media monitoring in Hootsuite. This role will also be part of our digital agency relationship – helping to provide direction for digital ad strategy (things like approving copy for SEO updates, providing assets for creative development, and ensuring brand standards are maintained).

Another component of this job is website updates in a WordPress environment. You'll complete tasks such as creating new location pages, updating biographies, making minor edits, and reporting larger concerns to our agency partners in real-time with proper escalation.

You won't just be working with digital elements. We also are seeking someone can write some of the things they publish – blogs, press releases, biographies, email messages, and talking points (by direct creation and with an outside resource oversight). We want an individual who can help us grow our brand by ensuring our footprint is accurate, on-brand, and well-presented online.

It's important to note that this is not a social-media-centric position, but instead one that helps with the overall digital footprint of UrgentVet. Monitoring social content and making coaching recommendations is just one small piece of the pie that comprises the responsibilities of the position.

The start date for this position is March 1, 2024.
