Responsibilities:Experience:
8-10 years as a Technical Writer, preferably within the aerospace industry.Documentation:
Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.Technical Writing:
Write and edit technical documentation for all project hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and how-to documentation.Code Documentation:
Create code documentation for software; produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities.Information Architecture:
Create and maintain the information architecture.Collaboration:
Work with technical and non-technical staff to collect and interpret technical information.Compliance:
Ensure compliance with industry and company documentation standards, including SAE Aerospace Standards, AIAA Standards, and technical publication standards from the FAA and ICAO.Visual Aids:
Create visual aids like diagrams, charts, and graphs to explain complex technical information.Terminology Library:
Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.Content Analysis:
Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style and content.Updates and Revisions:
Manage updates and revisions to technical literature.
