Position Summary Blue Yonder is seeking an exceptional VP of Design to propel Platform UX to deliver on-promise the consistency and cohesion required for growth; scaled business value & user satisfaction. This position is critical in overseeing Design Foundations along with Platform core services along with leading a team of ~25 associates globally within several regions around the world. Reporting directly to the Chief Design Officer, you will be instrumental in translating the UX strategy into tangible and sizable chunks through consistent release cadences. Contributing to the product vision and communicating it across the teams to increased platform activation between Applications (internal) and Extensibility frameworks (external). Leveraging leading cognitive capabilities to move away from market parity into market differentiation at its core. With the KPIs being desirability, usability and scale for its consumers and users.

Lead the ongoing refinement and enhancement of the design system, ensuring it supports efficient and innovative product development while maintaining brand consistency and meeting evolving user needs.Lead the design and implementation of a cohesive and scalable platform UX, prioritizing consistency and clarity in portal navigation and dashboard design to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.Manage the Foundations and Platform Core design team, guiding the creation and execution of design strategies that align with the platform’s core services and user experience goals.Translate complex UX strategies into detailed design solutions, ensuring seamless execution across release cadences and contributing to the platform's growth and scalability.Help to enable the integration of internal applications in partnership with Product Management through a unified design language, enhancing platform activation and user interaction.Employ advanced design methodologies and cognitive capabilities to establish market differentiation, focusing on creating a distinctive and intuitive user experience.Define and oversee KPIs for design and user experience, focusing on desirability, usability, and scalability within the platform environment.Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, ensuring that design principles are embedded in the product development process and contribute to the overall product vision.Champion user-centered design and evidence-based decision-making, leveraging user research and data analytics to inform and validate design decisions.Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field. Ideally in HCI.12+ years of experience in design leadership roles with strong product demonstrability enterprise design programs: Market lens, GitHub and/or Design Docs.Experience in building and managing high-performing design teams.Strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and platform services.Proficient in design software and technologies: Confluence, Figma, Jira, Storybook and others.Excellent communication, leadership and mentorship skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.The salary range for this position is $212,361 - $275,639. The salary range information provided reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
