We are looking for a Digital Media Director to come in and lead an established team of digital media practitioners. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and strategic thinker with the ability to set and deliver on new ideas, processes, tests, and opportunities while continually honing the program’s core competencies.
A successful candidate will be able to clearly and effectively communicate complex ideas in a palatable fashion, highlighting key findings and opportunities. A curious and analytical mindset with storytelling ability is critical for the role. The Digital Media Director should be able to balance efficiency and growth through their understanding of digital media, organization, project management, and emotional intelligence to get the most out of their team and DAC.

What we get:
8-12+ years of Digital Paid Media experience
At least 6 years of proven experience developing teams
Clear, effective, and impactful communication is a must
Project management capabilities/oversight and adherence of processes
Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Google Analytics certified
Strong proficiency with SA360 and Excel
Strong expertise with large, scaled campaigns, budgets, strategies, and tactics is required
Demonstrable presentation skills (creation of materials and in-room presentation)
Solid knowledge of digital testing methodologies, betas, and industry trends and topics
Eager to understand, test, and implement new digital search methodologies
A growth mindset for expanding campaigns and opportunities
Solid track record of delivering multiple time-sensitive projects on schedule
Responsibilities:
Act as the “conductor” of the account, ensuring each team member is deployed effectively and achieving objectives
Always maintain a global understanding of the entirety of the program while retaining the ability to deep-dive into an individual area to provide assistance, recommendations, and input as needed
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to SMEs in the development of programs to meet campaign objectives
Be able to analyze large sets of performance data and provide actionable insights and recommendations on a strategic, holistic level
Act as the escalation point for internal account teams and client contacts and be the subject matter partner to DAC’s senior account team members
Develop standardized processes for (and assist, where necessary) campaign planning, keyword research, bid optimization, budget management, ad copy revision for large campaigns and enforce uptake/follow-through
Identify new ways to scale campaign creation and management effectively (e.g. accounts with several thousand individual campaigns as part of the whole), including a focus on automation and AI
Track, measure, and report on program health across the larger media team and report to senior leadership both internally and within the client’s organization
Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of digital media, with a strong focus on paid search
Understand, test, and implement new digital search methodologies with a view to improving performance and scalability
Oversee the development of junior-mid level media team members
Work collaboratively with team members to oversee and improve internal processes to provide high-quality service
Oversee and lead relationships with key media vendors
Work Model:
This role requires two in-office days per week, with three days in-office during the three-month orientation period. Remote work is not available for this position.
