Digital Media Interns
The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are looking for a talented individual to join their team as a Digital Media Specialist. The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for creating eye-catching and timely digital content for use on our social media platforms, website, e-newsletters, and webcast. The Digital Media Specialist will work closely with the VP of Ticket Sales & Experience and Partnership Activation coordinator on a content calendar to ensure that 'Shoes fans have a positive experience starting with their online searching and that all partnership components are met.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Create, produce and execute digital content (social media posts, graphics, videos) for content calendar and other timely requests Maintain brand consistency across all social and digital platforms Participate in strategic planning to meet goals / objectives Create and manage content for non-sponsored and sponsored pages and posts, including but not limited to, social contests, live feature broadcasts, sweepstakes and promotional content across all social media platforms including, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and others. Create content, update, and manage the team website within parameters set by the team and league Oversee the 'Shoes video, webcast and radio team during the season Work with the Partnership Marketing team to brainstorm new sponsor social media campaign ideas, implement sponsored social media campaigns based on business requirements, and provide fan feedback on performance of campaigns Seek ways to creatively improve digital media for webcast and social media QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTER TRAITS:
Must possess superior written and verbal skills, editorial judgment and knowledge of digital culture. Thorough understanding (in a business capacity) of social platforms including, but not limited to Twitter (X), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office required Must possess proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, preferably Photoshop and InDesign and basic video/audio editing Ability to work under pressure, fast-paced environments Ability to work as a team and take constructive feedback from all levels of organization and league Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
