It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a member of the FTSE 100.As a conference producer you will identify and research leading edge, business-to-business issues and develop strategic conferences for target audiences that meet revenue expectations. You will take the lead in researching, determining, and refining the themes, content and stories that will be covered and discussed before, during and after each event. You will identify and recruit high-level thought leaders and the next generation of industry pioneers to initiate discussion and provide thought leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Development: Content and Audience Curation

Create and curate world class contentConduct extensive market research with internal and external stakeholders to determine the commercial viability of products based on research resultsWrite and produce commercially and editorially driven content for conferences, liaising with senior industry experts, analysts, and practitionersDevelop an engaged community by producing powerful content that has the potential to shift market sentiment and thinkingHit key production cycle milestone deadlines including research, draft programs, handovers, speaker recruitment, program sign offServe as the project lead; work with different members of the cross-functional teams to ensure that objectives and deadlines are met or exceededDevelop a global network of industry peers and contacts, becoming a voice for your sector with the ability to attract the most influential speakersCollaborate with sponsorship and marketing to ensure profitability of the eventProgram Delivery and Execution

Support sales team as required including writing and presenting the briefing document, joining sales calls as required, working with sponsors to place editorial thought leadership packages into the programSupport marketing team as required including writing and presenting briefing document, website set up, email copy writing and proofing, sourcing content for emailsTravel to conference sites to oversee production of commercial conferences including oversight of conference flow, faculty management and topic generationSupport speakers as required e.g., arrange and moderate panel callsSupport/Other

Participate in cross-departmental training and meetings and all deliverables associatedAttend training and conferences as requiredPerform adhoc duties as neededQualifications

Four-year degree or equivalent experience in life sciences or a related field1-3 years business experienceDemonstrated analytical, research and commercialization skills along with experience working in a fast-paced environment where quick turnaround is keyMust have strong project management skillsDemonstrated skills in networking, building relationships and strong verbal and written communication abilities are necessary for successImpeccable copy writing skillsProficiency with social networking sitesAbility to work within tight production timeframes and on multiple projectsExperience working with virtual products/ delivery of virtual products is desirable but not requiredDemonstrates a comfort level talking to the market with little ramp up time on new topic areasAbility to present regularly to cross functional, departmental and project teamsAdditional Information
