Today, QuicksortRx software manages around $12.5 billion in annual pharmaceutical purchasing at major medical centers and has exceeded savings targets at all sites.Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Product Designer to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of real-world experience and theoretical knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a profound design sense coupled with the technical ability to implement high-quality visual and interactive elements for our software products.Responsibilities
Design and refine user interfaces and workflows, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.Work alongside our customer success team to understand client needs and incorporate feedback into design solutions.Collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately.Develop and maintain design wireframes, mockups, and specifications.Utilize HTML/CSS to turn designs into live prototypes and eventually production-ready interfaces.Conduct usability testing and adjust designs based on user feedback.Requirements
Proven experience in UI/UX design, particularly within software or technology environments.Proficiency in HTML/CSS, with a keen eye for aesthetic detail and a passion for clean, accessible interfaces.Strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.Dedication to enhancing customer workflows and improving overall user experience.Location & Commitments Our office is located in Charleston, SC. We prefer our UX Designer to be based in Charleston, SC, for in-person collaboration, but we are also open to remote candidates who demonstrate strong alignment with our project needs. For remote employees, some travel to Charleston will be required for a smooth onboarding process.Why QuicksortRx and Why Now We have been methodically charting this journey. We spent years developing the case for our product and improving it with our first customer, MUSC. After commercializing outside of MUSC, we have continued to grow - scaling our infrastructure and bringing on additional health systems as customers. In 2021, we brought two industry veterans on to our Board of Directors, who have invested personally in the company. In the last year, we’ve doubled our pharmacist support and development teams with top talent to accommodate our growing customer base.
