This could be your dream job. 4 News Now has an immediate opening for a sports director in an innovative, close-knit newsroom that is committed to journalism and its values. You'll lead a sports team by planning coverage, anchoring newscasts, developing your own stories, shooting games and sharing your knowledge and video across all platforms. Have we mentioned, Gonzaga is right down the street?What you'll do:Write sports stories for newscasts and digital platformsPublish content and generate story ideas through social media sitesUse social media to gather and share informationWork with news managers to set the tone and plan for sports coverage across platformsWhat you'll bring:4-year degree with an emphasis on journalism preferred5 years of experience as a sports anchor/reporterAccurate and comprehensive writing, shooting, and editing skillsDesire to do sports that goes beyond fullscreens and highlightsAbility to lift and carry 25 poundsWhat 4 News Now offers:Pay range: $25 per hourWe're a dynamic and progressive family-owned business that values our employees, our culture and our communityWe are a team of talented and creative professionals.
