Permanent positionActive Personnel are looking for a skilled Estimator/ CAD Designer to join our Fabrication client’s team in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects as well as estimating on projects. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, and SolidWorks to develop accurate designs.Responsibilities for the Estimator/ CAD Designer:
Review customer drawings and create estimates from these to include bill of materialsUtilise CAD software to produce detailed drawings and modelsCollaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirementsCreate 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systemsEnsure designs comply with industry standards and project specificationsReview and modify designs based on feedback from team membersQualifications needed for the Estimator/ CAD Designer:
Proficient in AutoCADExperience in Fabrication and DetailingStrong attention to detail and accuracy in design workAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentThis person will also assist with estimating & creating Bill of materials.Benefits for the Estimator/ CAD Designer:
