You will pay close attention to details and deliver solutions that delight customers.Key job responsibilities As a quality assurance engineer, you will/may:Use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain software test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or features.Create and maintain automation scripts, make configuration changes, and modify/extend test cases to accommodate feature releases.Develop test solutions, scripts, and simple tools to reduce manual effort, audit component, or improve feature quality.Troubleshoot automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defects.Analyze change requests and provide recommendations on how change might impact test scope and/or product behavior.About the team As a member of the Amazon Music Podcasts team, you will be responsible for leading the effort to invent and improve the ways that customers can discover, engage with, and listen to podcasts. You will create new scalable systems to fulfill customer requests, algorithms to pick the perfect podcasts, client interfaces on mobile and web that engage listeners, and services to enable customers to seamlessly resume listening on any device.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years of quality assurance engineering experienceBachelor's degreeExperience in manual testingExperience in automation testingExperience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay for this position ranges from $75,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183,100/year in our highest geographic market.
