Job Summary:

Lockton Affinity, in Overland Park, is searching for a Summer 2025 Graphic Design Intern. During the 8-week program, the Graphic Design Intern will work closely with all roles within the marketing team to solve business problems through smart, well-designed, audience-specific materials that help sell products, meet marketing objectives for internal audiences and external clients, and maintain a consistent brand identity for Lockton Affinity and our clients.

The Graphic Design Intern will play a role in the design, production and execution of a variety of marketing deliverables across numerous channels, including digital, print and interactive media.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Works closely with the creative team to develop, design and execute creative strategy through a diverse set of deliverables, ensuring consistency of the customer experience and established brand voice across numerous touch pointsTranslates established creative briefs, marketing objectives, brand standards and business requirements into clear, concise, compelling creative piecesCreates assets across multiple mediums which could include:

BrochuresPrint and digital adsPPC and retargeting campaignsPrint and digital flyersEmail campaignsWebsites and landing pagesBlogs and social mediaConvention signage and promotional materialsDirect mailOther special projects

Assists the User Experience Designer with ongoing WordPress website management and maintenanceOther duties that may be assigned to meet business needsRequirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Thorough knowledge of the following applications:

Adobe Creative Suite with proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and IllustratorMicrosoft Word, PowerPoint, ExcelWordPress and HTML experience preferred

PC operating systems skills are requiredPossesses a portfolio of print, digital and interactive design workExperience in email design and comfortable working with email service providersEXPECTATIONS
