Job Summary:The Associate Director, Digital Communcations is responsible for producing, managing, maintaining, and analyzing websites and online communications vehicles of the Office of Institutional Advancement. They oversee operations, maintenance, and analytics for webpages, and donation forms. Additionally, they support creation of e-newsletters, advancment emails, and event emails, and the development and implementation of multimedia content and websites for the Office of Institutional Advancement. The Associate Director will develop and help implement a comprehensive digital content strategy, including but not limited to: social media engagement, socal media marketing and retargeting, virtual event platforms, peer-to-peer fundraising, email and other digital fundraising channels. This position serves as a central resource for OIA on leveraging and managing digital communications channels, working closely with Events, Annual Giving, Major Gifts, and Alumni Relations teams in addition to Jeffersonrsquo;s central Marketing office.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Produce and maintain OIA websites including sites for events, fundraising initiatives, proposals, cases for support, alumni, community fundraising, annual giving and planned giving.Develops and implements digital content strategy to support the Office of Institutional Advancement.Monitor audience behaviors using analytics toolsTest and refine digital communications messaging through A/B testingCurate performance reports and monitor key trends and insightsOptimize and retarget social media adsMeasure effectiveness of social campaigns and provide actionable reportingManage and deploy email communicationsOversee email communication calendar to ensure subscriber growth and list healthServe as a resource to all OIA teams on use of the Adobe Campaign Manager tool. Develop strategy to optimize the features and capabilities of this tool in enhance fundraising and engagement efforts.Coordinates the development and implementation of online multimedia content, programs and services.Coordinates the implementation of online communications.Tracks and analyzes online metrics to improve websites and online communications.Partners with internal and external content managers, editors, designers, developers, and other Jefferson staff, particularly Interactive Marketing and Meda Relations, to plan and execture social media campaigns.Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson

Bachelorrsquo;s degree or equivalent level of professional experience required.3+ years experience of Web team/projectsStrong user understanding and demonstrated expertise in Web content, usability, architecture, development and design.Required knowledge of the following:HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, mySQL, javascriptAdobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesignPreferred - XML, AJAX, RSS, PHP, ASP, SQLserver,Ability to collaborate with colleagues, staff and faculty within a highly-complex, academic environment.Excellent listening skills.Command of multi-media strategies, tactics, and resources: a track record of implementing effective communications in a variety of print and digital media.Collaborative approach to problem solving.Familiar with industry trends and standards.Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University.
