Company Overview:An established private label apparel company is seeking a creative and detail-oriented
Sleepwear Design Intern . This full-time, paid internship gives college students the opportunity to contribute to sleepwear design projects, working closely with an experienced design team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We're looking for dedicated individuals with a passion for fashion design and a particular interest in sleepwear and loungewear.

Key Responsibilities:Conduct market research to identify trends in fabric, trim, and styling relevant to sleepwear and loungewear.Hand sketch sleepwear designs, focusing on comfort and innovative detailing.Create flat sketches using Adobe Illustrator and assist in developing tech packs with a basic understanding of garment construction.Work with designers to create original prints, patterns, and embroideries, utilizing both hand sketches and digital tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.Assist in developing seasonal trend reports and presentations for both new and existing clients.Help organize and maintain the fabric library, ensuring it's stocked with current fabric samples relevant to sleepwear.Keep the design room and showroom well-organized, contributing to a productive and creative work environment.Support designers with daily tasks, including fittings, mood board creation, and sample management.Skills & Requirements:
Must be a
Fashion Design major
with a strong interest in sleepwear and loungewear design.Strong hand-sketching skills, with the ability to translate ideas into clear and detailed illustrations.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); knowledge of 3D software (CLO, Browzwear, etc.) is a plus.A collaborative team player with a passion for sleepwear design and product development.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
