ARC Group is currently recruiting for Director of Product Marketing for a

leading Information Technology company specializing in custom silicon solutions for accelerated infrastructures. The Director of Product Marketing will set the business strategy, defining technology roadmaps, creating customer-specific solutions, and securing new business opportunities in custom computing and storage.

This is a direct hire opportunity that provides competitive salaries, excellent benefits, a hybrid work environment, and a generous bonus structure. This position can be based in Santa Clara, CA, Redmond, WA, or Austin, TX.Our client collaborates with customers to implement complex, tailored solutions using advanced technologies and intellectual property (IP) while offering flexible engagement models. They are dedicated to addressing challenging design issues in data centers, wired and wireless communications, and other infrastructure applications.

Job Description: Sr. Director of Product Marketing, Custom Compute & StorageWe seek a candidate with established relationships with key customers who can identify their challenges and propose effective product solutions. You will take proposed concepts and transform them into comprehensive solutions while articulating the value proposition and defining long-term roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Business Planning:

Lead activities encompassing market and technology trends, market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM), identification of key customers to target, competitive analysis, revenue projections, product positioning, and pricing strategies.Customer Insight:

Acquire an in-depth understanding of customer applications and competitor offerings to inform the Marvell product roadmap, ensuring products remain compelling and differentiated.Opportunity Management:

Drive the opportunity funnel and design wins in collaboration with the sales team to meet annual revenue targets and exceed long-term goals.Senior Management Relationships:

Establish and nurture influential relationships with senior management at key accounts and partner organizations.Hyperscaler Engagement:

Leverage deep experience and relationships working with one or more hyperscalers.Market Expertise:

Serve as an expert in one or more data center sub-markets (AI, Processors, CXL, VCU, Connectivity, etc.).Cross-Functional Leadership:

Lead cross-functional teams to develop complex business and technical proposals and present them to senior leadership.Business Management:

Manage business processes including roadmap development, Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), revenue forecasts, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.Customer-Facing Tools Development:

Oversee the creation of comprehensive customer-facing materials, including presentations, white papers, solution briefs, and competitive positioning documents.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or a related field) required; MSEE and/or MBA preferred.Experience:

15+ years of relevant semiconductor experience with a solid understanding of semiconductor computing technologies (CPU, GPU, FPGA) and market dynamics.Communication Skills:

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of engaging all levels of the organization, as well as partners and customers, with a focus on persuasion and influence.Self-Starter:

Demonstrated ability as a proactive self-starter with strong cross-functional leadership skills.Product Management Expertise:

Proven experience in product management, including defining products, developing Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), and driving design and package engineering analysis.Customer-Facing Experience:

Must have substantial experience in a customer-facing role, with the communication skills necessary to effectively interface with clients and manage product expectations.Market Knowledge:

Experience in the compute market, product marketing, and business analysis. Familiarity with AI devices and AI system designs is a significant advantage.Design Background:

Comprehensive knowledge of semiconductor design necessary for evaluating product trade-offs related to performance, manufacturing cost, power consumption, and total development cost. Familiarity with key system elements of AI, CPU, GPU, FPGA, and compute products is essential for assessing product trade-offs.Work Ethic:

Strong work ethic, sense of extreme ownership, and adaptability to rapidly changing environments.
