The Alexa Smart Home Growth Team helps millions of customers worldwide create homes that make their lives easier, safer, and more fun. Our vision is to make every Alexa customer a Smart Home customer, with a home filled with devices that work for them from smart lights to cameras to robotic vacuums and more. We need a Product Marketing Manager who can help fuel the next wave of growth.
We are looking for a dynamic marketing professional who will develop strategies and execute plans that reach millions of new and existing customers, helping them start and expand their Smart Home. In this role you will create campaigns that show Alexa customers how and why to connect smart devices and begin their Smart Home journey. You will also create campaigns that encourage existing Smart Home customers to add more devices and expand their usage. To be successful you will need to work across multiple teams to drive growth including sales, product, engagement, research, demand-generation, international, business development, and third-party brands.
A successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically - from the creation of plans, to execution, and analysis of business impact. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate is a passionate marketing leader who has a track record of achieving (and measuring) great results through innovative programs and campaigns.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop campaigns that inspire potential and existing customers to start and expand their Smart Home
- Create messaging strategies and test new approaches to optimize campaign performance
- Own reporting on device connection performance and deep-dive opportunities for growth
- Partner with Research to deeply understand the customer, including barriers and motivations to becoming an Alexa Smart Home customer
- Monitor campaign performance and partner with BI and platform teams to drive improvements
- Partner directly with high-volume 3P brands on joint growth plans
- Partner with global marketing teams to scale successful campaigns worldwide
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
