The Senior Field Marketing Manager for the West will drive account expansion and deal acceleration through an integrated field marketing plan with Sales as your primary stakeholder. As the link for Marketing in your region, you'll partner with sales and marketing to ensure you create and curate engaging programs that accelerate the sales cycle and improve conversion to customers. You'll experiment with new approaches and tools while being disciplined and analytical in measuring programs across the West and consistently sharing results up and across the organization. You are a data-guided and results-driven marketer, a leader, and a partner to your cross-functional stakeholders.

This role will report to the Head of Americas Field Marketing and will be strategically based in the West region, which is the owned territory.Position Expectations

Build, own, and execute the field marketing plan for the West region. This integrated plan will help MongoDB effectively grow and accelerate pipeline through targeted programs across digital, web, webinars, trade shows, regional events, pipeline acceleration events, and our annual roadshow, in concert with our key customers and partners in the regionGenerate and track/report on marketing-sourced New Workloads (NWLs) for the WestBe a trusted partner to the West sales leadership team by understanding and supporting the needs of each territory through careful planning of marketing strategies and programs that accelerate deal velocitySupport programming, understand the specific challenges of strategic accounts, and discover the organization's decision-making process and key personasWork with the broader organization to develop strategies to expand the usage of MongoDB across enterprise accounts and various personas within accounts, from developers to C-level executivesUnderstand how to develop end-to-end marketing programs across multiple enterprise accountsConduct market research and evaluation to understand regional and account-specific opportunitiesWork closely with the field marketing managers across the AMER regions to ensure our regional plans are aligned with both sales and marketing goals and objectivesEnsure program performance and ROI are regularly tracked and set up processes to measure outcomes effectively. Build in the ability to iterate quickly to meet the changing demands of our market and the regionSupport our flagship events and sponsored conferencesManage the West field marketing budgetRequirementsBachelor's degree and/or 4-8 years of field marketing experience and account management/marketing experience in an enterprise software, B2B SaaS or technology companyExperience with account-based and/or developer marketing is a plusHighly results-driven with outstanding analytical ability. Demonstrate a metrics-driven approach to success and show return on investment (ROI) by tracking results from funded/co-marketing activity against budgetExperience working cross-functionally with sales or customer success teamsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperience with CRM and Marketing Automation systems, such as Salesforce, Eloqua, Jira, etcGood humor and positive, can-do attitude30-50% travel to owned markets

MongoDB's base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB's total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

$84,000-$165,000 USD
