4C Group is a fast-growing design firm that specializes in custom high quality custom homes. We are looking for a talented and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual who is also willing to learn.Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist design team on designated projects - construction specifications through furnishingsCollect and maintain materials for designated projectsUpdate & label materials for project in project binSample ordering for project specific materialsSample ordering for teamOrder new samples requested by design teamSchedule rep visits to obtain new samples for future projectsPresentationsSet-up presentation format for designated projectsEnsure consistency in layout and formatEnsure selections are included in presentationCollect imageryAssist design team in conceptual presentations by collecting imagerySchematic DraftingUse AutoCAD to draft schematic design with the direction of the design team2D RenderingsRender design in Adobe Photoshop to depict design and show material/finishesConstruction DocumentsAssist on Construction documents for designated projectsFollow CAD standardsDimensions and calloutsConsistency across pages - example Electrical plan to Electrical on elevation drawingsMaking schedules for designated projects and keeping them updated with new selectionsFollow format in template and apply across all schedulesSite VisitAssist design team with site visits for major points in construction process - framing, electrical, etcChecking dimensions onsiteMeetingsResponsible for detailed notesNotes entered into a daily log and reviewed by lead designerFurniture Phase:Assist with furnishing selections ( furniture, area rugs, fabrics, wall coverings, art, bedding, accessories, homeware, etc)PricingAssist in obtaining quotes & lead timesDesign software input - Studio DesignerResponsible for entering product information and quotes into Studio DesignerCOM FormsCreate COM for all custom pieces using the company's COM form or 4C Group formInstallation PrepSchedule installation with moversWork with purchaser to track items for installationLaunder beddingPrinting furniture plans for each areaHave list of items ready for installation to check off during installInstallsAssist lead designer with confirming items arrivedInspect items in rooms to document damagesPhoto document any damagesHelp direct movers to place furniture in correct locationsJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
