The Marketing Specialist 1 - Podcast position exists to provide marketing support to the podcast marketing teams to include general administration, marketing plan assistance, tactical implementation, inter-departmental communication, and plan entries into the project management system to track approvals and deadlines. Provide project status information at regular intervals and when requested. Wor ks with Sr. Marketing Director to track and report on projects. Requires general supervision, project direction, and refers questionable matters to the Sr. Marketing Director.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides support in the development of marketing plans to include writing basic plans, schedule adherence, tactical implementation and follow up in plan elements, preparing plan calendars, reporting on plan status and exceptions, and distribution of final plan to (internal and external) key stakeholders
Enters marketing plan activities (e.g., plan elements, advertisements, cover images and artwork, direct marketing etc.) into the project management tool, Aprimo (training provided) making sure the needed approvals are obtained and deadlines are met. Gathers necessary information from members of the marketing strategy team and other internal/external stakeholders. Tracks projects to completion
Works cross-departmentally to accomplish marketing goals, and clearly communicates the milestones for a project, following through in a timely manner on all assigned parts of a project, promptly responding to requests for information
Conducts research for competitive analysis, SWOT analysis, to ensure that the team is hitting the right core audience, maximizing our ROI potential and ministry impact
Nurtures professional relationships with outside vendors and third-party contractors as needed
Assists in the planning and preparation of various inter-departmental meetings and other on-site partner meetings. Takes notes of action items, decision, and other issues for follow up in meetings as assigned. Follows up on assignments given to ensure agreed upon deliverables are met
Identifies areas of growth and creates strategies for assigned programs
Maintains marketing calendar for the department, organizes marketing plan files and gather plan elements and samples to stakeholders (Ads, Covers, Promo copies etc.)
Is responsible for ordering, tracking, and controlling inventory for all applicable campaign marketing materials, product samples and merchandise
Assists in preparing work orders, purchase orders and identifying budget for plan activities. Keeps marketing budget up to date, and works with the Business Affairs Department, legal team when necessary, and other stakeholders to help coordinate budget and contractual issues
Assists in maintaining effective internal client communication, while building trust and credibility. Addresses concerns in a timely way
Reviews packaging, promotional copy, and other communications for accuracy recommending changes as needed
Creates innovative ways to internally communicate FOTF resources. Develops and executes internal marketing plans that inspires and informs FOTF employees about upcoming campaigns and related resources
Works with Marketing Director to aid in tracking and communication of monthly activities as it relates to ministry wide campaigns
Communicates closely and in a timely manner with the Marketing Director with up-to-date weekly reports on all assigned campaigns
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Limited travel may be required for events, conferences
Manages travel arrangements for Director and staff as needed, along with any marketing materials
Assist in managing interns and volunteers
Prepares and submits travel expense reports for department (Concur reporting software)
Share the general administrative duties of the marketing strategy area
Performs other duties as assigned
Working Environment/Physical Requirements:
Fast-paced office environment with constantly changing priorities
This role may require occasional travel including nights and weekends

Knowledge/Experience:
B achelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or business-related experience preferred
2-4 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or communications with proven project management skill.
Exposure to basic marketing principles. Podcast experience a benefit.
Computer proficiency in a variety of Windows-based software and other SaaS systems
Experience in giving presentations and public communication preferred
Knowledge of digital and social media communication tools and platforms
Salesforce Social Studio or Marketing Cloud experience a benefit

Pay Range: $24.00 to $27.50/hr
