Marketing Specialist/Technical Writer

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Marketing Specialist/Technical Writer - Madison, WI or Midwest Office HUB (MI or IL) - 20900000668 The Opportunity: Tetra Tech is adding a Marketing Specialist to our 180-person operating unit. This role will be based in our Madison, WI office (options from Farmington Hills, MI or Naperville, IL office). Your Impact: Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist (3-5 years\' experience) will have overall management and accountability for the entire proposal and statement of qualifications (SOQ) process, including coordinating all key operational areas, preparation, review, and strategic development. The Marketing Specialist will work within technical teams to write proposals and develop interview presentations, develop winning approaches, and targeted messaging that resonates with the client for each project. In addition, this role will include working with the marketing team on all areas of marketing including social media, developing of marketing collateral, selection of branded items, website content development, writing articles showcasing our experts and general marketing support for our technical team. Your Role: * Review RFQs/RFPs and develop detailed proposal outlines and production schedules to thoroughly respond to client requirements. * Work with technical staff (project managers) to identify win themes and differentiators. * Research and write firm qualifications content, cover letters, project descriptions, staff biographies, and resumes tailored to each pursuit. * Review and edit technical proposal content, project descriptions, staff biographies, and resumes tailored to each pursuit. * Review and edit technical proposal content to ensure consistency, flow, inclusion of win themes and differentiators, and conformance with RFP selection criteria. * Oversee coordination with corporate departments, including legal, financial, safety, HR, etc. * Coordinate proposal review cycles. * Cross-check proposal submittals with RFP requirements and ensure compliance. * Follow through with proposal print production and shipping. * Assist with developing interview presentations. * Maintain marketing information databases, including resumes, project descriptions, client contact information, and text libraries. * Maintain filing system for master resumes, master project descriptions, and marketing collateral. * Participate in monthly marketing calls and other marketing meetings. * Monitor various websites for RFQs and RFPs. * Assist with proposal post-mortem interviews, as necessary. * Participate in developing other marketing materials, including brochures and other collateral. * Collaborate with technical staff to write articles and content for the website and social media. * Assist with other duties as needed to support the marketing department.
