This role is a leader within our Technology Team, serving as the SME and go-to client contact across all phases of the engagement. Individuals in this role have a passion for marketing automation and delivering best-in-class solutions that drive outcomes and innovation for our clients.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead clients through discovery & requirement gathering, focusing on building relationships and inspiring adoption & innovationCreate and present solution documentation, keeping both internal and external stakeholders informed and engagedDocument requirements, design architecture diagrams, perform platform configuration, test, document, implement and train on Salesforce Marketing CloudCollaborate with stakeholders to translate epics, features, and user stories that reflect client and user requirements into a client's technology solution roadmapPartner with clients on project-based work as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud subject matter expert, executing thoughtfully through delivery and providing recommendations for platform adoption and optimizations.Actively participates in new business efforts related to scoping and solutioning Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations and related projectsActively participate through agile delivery by breaking work into epics and user stories, and delivering agile sprintsProvide leadership around and adhere to Email, Web, Push and SMS channel best practicesCreate, edit and manipulate medium to complex SQL and AMPScriptBe able to edit existing HTML, CSS, JSON and SSJSBuild audiences and segments using complex logic across multiple data setsDevelop and adhere to rigorous QA processProactively present and deploy optimization activitiesPartner with Marketing Automation Managers on project tasks, guiding their work and assisting with knowledge transfer and trainingLead ongoing practice knowledge sharing, bringing forth ideas and solutions for innovative positioning and offerings as it relates to client supportPartner with analytics to identify and access data source systems for analysis and reportingParticipate in content development and thought leadership to support growth within our Salesforce practiceRequired Qualifications:3+ years of relevant Salesforce Marketing Cloud experienceBachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc. or equivalent work experienceSalesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certifiedSalesforce Marketing Cloud Admin and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certifications preferredCoding capabilities across the following:Ampscript.SQLJSONHTML, CSS, SSJS experience considered a plusExpertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a baseline understanding of capabilities across Data Cloud, Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud Personalization and Marketing Cloud Intelligence preferredExperience leading implementations in a client-facing roleUnderstanding of cross-channel marketing best practicesExperience scoping medium-large complexity Salesforce projectsDeep understanding of data privacy and protection practices (CAN-SPAM, CASL, EU Privacy Directive, DPR, blacklisting, etc.)Attention to detail and an eye for quality
