Senior Training Specialist III

Senior Training Specialist III

will:

Build and conduct effective training programs using the ADDIE instructional design principles to analyze, develop, design, implement, evaluate, and conduct training and development programs on credit union industry specific topics, as well as personal and professional development topics for all employees.Promote the development & growth of our managers and employees, via the AmeriCU Leadership Academy, through the creation of development plans, critical skill programs and flagship leadership programs in support of the strategic Human Resources "People" pillar of the strategic plan.Design, develop and maintain eLearning coursework and oversee administration of the AmeriCU Learning Library and Learning Management System.Act in a supervisory and mentor capacity for the Training Specialists and the students that are completing new hire training.What you will do:

Senior Training Specialist III your primary responsibilities will include:

Training Program:

Plans, organizes, and effectively conducts employee training on various skill, policy, and compliance areas. Provides support and facilitation to management development training initiatives.Instructional Design & Development:

Prepare and maintain training materials to support instruction and learning needs using a variety of modalities. This includes leader's guides, participant guides and workbooks.

Researches and identifies areas in which training is required and/or beneficial. Designs, drafts, and/or acquires new training materials. Evaluates and modifies existing or proposed program materials; suggests and implements suitable changes.Create, maintain, and update eLearning digital training content (coursework, assessments, using our Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure that training media is current, reflects simulation best practices, and aligns with strategic objectives. Be the technical resource for the department's LMS

Facilitation:

Develops, leads and facilitates a majority of the leadership and management development training workshops that support the Strategic HR pillar, using adult education principles, with a variety of instruction methods; including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos on various topics.

Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various workshops using a mixed modality of facilitator led instruction or online virtual caf sessions, on the topics of performance management, goal setting, coaching and mentoring, interviewing essentials, etc.Product & Service knowledge, including features, benefits, member service skills, procedural and compliance reinforcement and refresher training as needed, on and off-site, including Reg. CC, Truth-in-Savings, OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act sessions. Serve as resource to users for how-to questions relative to core systems and procedures and assist with problem resolution.Operational systems training, including Symitar, and related systems for front-line use in member service delivery. Conduct staff training on Financial Center technology enhancements, such as Cash Dispense Machines, Cash Recyclers, Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) and other equipment, etc.

Evaluation and Skills Assessment : Administers, scores, and logs results of qualification, learning assessment, and retention tests; arranges retraining or other appropriate action for insufficient scores.

Organize a shadow and mentor program with employee at their Financial Center to aid in on the job training as well as assess their progress.Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.Training Consultation: Report evaluation results to management and others in the organization responsible for coaching and developing employee performance.

Administration:

Reviews learning content and makes updates and/or adjustments as needed.

Facilitates delivery of training by reserving and setting up needed audiovisual equipment and training rooms; scheduling training times with attendees; preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts; and performing other related tasks.Updates and maintenances the respective training regions, coordinating region updates and preparing examples to be used in training.Deploy courses and curriculum via learning technologies, responsible for uploading and deploying learning objects to learning management systems (LMS).

Enhancement Testing:

Participate in and/or lead testing for system programming as pertains to system validations, automations, scripts, Symforms, Symitar releases, programming to support initiatives related to the Teller and Member Relationship Advisor role.

Assist Process Improvement by testing change implementations across test operational systems before integration in the Live programming.Documenting the process improvement changes and updating the existing class material that supports that process and function.

Mentoring:

Work with Training Specialist I in a mentoring capacity to teach components of instructional design, ADDIE instructional design model, Kirkpatrick evaluations and the importance of HR/Training workforce analytics.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education or other related field or equivalent experience.Experience: 5+ years of experience training and/or facilitating classes for adult learners. Should have experience in creating and delivering both live and eLearning content.Communication: Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational and analytical skills.Organization: Must display ability to self-direct and have excellent organizational skills. Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise, TechSmith Camtasia/SnagIt/Audiate, Canva, FoxIt. Must have strong PC skills and demonstrate ability to master various technological systems (Symitar, MeridianLink, Salesforce, PC software programs, etc.)
