Position Summary:
Seeking a passionate and creative graphic designer who has experience in creating graphics for apparel and is interested in joining a team of talented graphic designers. This role will be primarily focused on designing graphics to be applied on tshirts, hoodies, and crewnecks for our inline collections as well as our in store and web inclusive programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Ideate and pull references for graphic apparel collections
• Design graphic apparel collections for mens, womens, and kids inline
• Design graphic apparel collections for in store, web inclusive, and location specific
• Partner with team members, merchandising teams, development teams, and domestic/overseas factories to achieve high quality product
• Pitch ideas / concepts for assigned projects to CEO in team design meetings • Manage collections from concept to factory development
• Techpack all approved designs
• Work with tight timelines without compromising quality of deliverables
• Follow product lifecycle with approvals on color, fabric, art, branding, and techniques from launch to production
Experience:
• 4-5 years of working in a fashion industry
• Experience designing graphics and application of graphics to apparel
• Strong ability to create original graphics, wordmarks, and logos that consistently fit within the brand's aesthetic
• Experience with embellishment, printing, and finishing techniques
• Understanding of tee development with the ability to techpack/launch approved designs with a factory using a PLM software
• Strong background with graphic design in creating and manipulating art and having an understanding of print ready files for factories
• Experience and knowledge of product development process / calendar / timelines
Skills:
• Adobe Creative Suite
• PLM system
• Interpersonal communication skills
• Organizational skills to keep track of a variety of ongoing projects in a fast pace environment
• Critically think/problem solve in order to achieve higher product standards
