Role x You

The Senior Motion Designer will provide technical know-how and solutions for VICE TV's award-winning show graphics and title sequences, VICE Media campaigns, and third-party productions. This role will require hands-on animation, VFX and motion graphics work - along with ideation, direction and delegation.

This role is a hybrid role (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office) but subject to change.

Responsibilities:Organize daily requests and projects

Communicate with producers, editors and supervisors on design project needs and requests

Problem solve and interpret design feedback from producers, editors, supervisors and directors

Manage deadlines and a brief with superior accuracy

Concept show packages and campaigns

Storyboard/style frame show titles and scenes

Design original graphics for VICE campaigns, VICE TV shows + outside shows and films

Design, animate, and edit standalone motion graphics packages

Create assets and templates for video editors

Ideate solves that require graphics or visual effects

Create a positive, collaborate, supportive culture by being solution-oriented, and encouraging collaboration and respect

Ensure that we are always pushing design boundaries and reimagining solutions for every execution, from small projects to large initiatives

You have these (qualifications for this role):

4+ years of experience in motion graphics design

Strong proficiency & experience in motion graphics programs, including After Effects, and 3D programs such Cinema 4D or Maya, and its plugins

Full understanding of Adobe Design programs

Resourcefulness, diligence, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills • Ability to delegate resources and communicate effectively and articulately with designers and producers

Strong discipline and organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines

Strong strategic thinking and creative presentation skills are extremely important for the success of this position

A deep knowledge of designers, illustrators, photographers, animators, DPs and creative talent across the industry

The salary range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.

Pay Range Details:

$80,000k - $85,000k USD
