Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support the Joint Advertising, Market Research & Studies (JAMRS) contract, providing specialized knowledge and expertise in military recruitment, advertising, and market research. Identifies areas in which theoretical research may enhance clients’ performance and leads efforts to advance understanding in these areas. Provides expertise including an understanding of current best practices and appropriate implementation of the latest techniques and tools. In addition to providing specialized advice, delivers presentations, leads client meetings, and performs assessments. Offers insights, analysis, and strategic guidance to optimize JAMRS initiatives and ensure that the program meets its goals in attracting and recruiting qualified personnel across the United States Armed Forces.Location:
Remote and JAMRS Headquarters located in the Mark Center in Alexandria, VAThis position is contingent upon contract award.Key Responsibilities:Expert Analysis and Consultation:
Provide in-depth analysis and insights on military recruitment trends, challenges, and opportunities.Advise on best practices in advertising strategies targeting prospective military recruits.Evaluate market research data to identify key demographic trends and inform strategic decisions.Strategic Planning and Development:
Collaborate with JAMRS leadership to develop and refine strategic plans for recruitment campaigns.Offer guidance on the creation of marketing materials, ensuring they resonate with target audiences.Contribute to the development of innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.Market Research and Studies:
Support the design and execution of market research studies focused on understanding the perceptions, motivations, and behaviors of potential recruits.Analyze research findings to provide actionable recommendations for improving recruitment and retention.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the efficacy of research methodologies.Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a liaison between JAMRS, military branches, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of goals and objectives.Present findings, recommendations, and strategies to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.Participate in working groups, briefings, and meetings as needed.Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all advertising, marketing, and research efforts comply with relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines.Prepare detailed reports and presentations to document findings, strategies, and progress.Monitor the performance of JAMRS initiatives and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.Required Qualifications:Education:
Must possess at least a PhD or MA/MS (or equivalent) in area of specialty (i.e., Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field).Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a specialist (title and responsibility appropriate to recognized expert in field) in marketing, advertising, market research, or a related field, with a strong focus on military recruitment or similar sectors.Expertise:
Possesses highly specialized knowledge in areas of particular value to clients. Demonstrates mastery of scarce capability or area of expertise which dictates high compensation. In-depth knowledge of military recruitment processes, advertising strategies, and market research methodologies.Skills:
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
Security Clearance:
Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and successfully complete a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check and a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) check.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with or within the Department of Defense (DoD).Familiarity with JAMRS and its mission, goals, and current initiatives.Prior military service or experience in a military recruitment role is highly desirable.Original Posting Date:

Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
