Job Title: Director of Design & Project Coordinator
Job Description
The interior design project manager will spearhead the design effort, coordinate the design team, and manage all aspects of projects from initial concepts through completion. Responsibilities include attending client meetings to understand project vision, establishing and adhering to response deadlines, coordinating the interior design and specification team, overseeing the work of four junior designers, developing creative design schemes within budget, traveling occasionally to client locations nationwide, ensuring accurate product ordering, maintaining project schedules, and visiting sites to verify work adherence to specifications. Additionally, the role involves maintaining an up-to-date design center.

Our client recently rebranded and relocated to a state-of-the-art office in Berkeley Heights, NJ, operating on a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). The firm, comprising 12 employees, focuses on higher-end projects ranging between $1 - $1.5 million, with a project pipeline of 10-15 active projects. The team is aiming to grow.
