Bungie, the creators of the iconic Halo and Destiny franchises, is seeking a talented Senior Narrative Designer for its new project, Marathon.As a Senior Narrative Designer, you are a member of the Narrative team and will drive innovation in partnership and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise in crafting Narrative experiences will be crucial to crafting a narrative experience that enhances the world and gameplay.RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to craft narrative experiences that seamlessly integrate into the core gameplay experienceAdvise, and facilitate the development of narrative content through documentation, review, and regular syncs with the small teamsGenerate and maintain story treatments, character bios, environment guides, casting documents, and other supporting narrative documentationCollaborate with and provide feedback to peers to foster excellence in storytellingIdentify opportunities to expand and deepen narrative channelsPromote an inspiring, creative, and enjoyable work environmentREQUIRED SKILLS

Game industry experience on AAA games or MMOsOutstanding communication, diplomacy, and negotiation skillsDetailed understanding of all aspects of the narrative design development process, including design methodology, craftsmanship, production, and collaboration with external cinematic and voice vendorsExperience orchestrating high quality, large-scale narrative content across multiple story channelsUnderstanding of game production, design tools, and systemsAbility to assess and emulate the tone, themes and character voices of DestinyComfortable working with proprietary toolsNICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

Background in writing and a passion for storytelling in non-gaming mediaExperience working on a live game ("game as a service")Bellevue Pay Range $105,000 — $128,000 USDSo you don't meet every requirement listed in this job description?
