Objectives:

This position is responsible for key elements of in-market execution of the Eye Care Rx Dry Eye product, XIIDRA®. The brand manager will help with the ECP and DTC tactical execution of the brand which is a key growth driver for the Ophthalmology Rx business. This position reports to the Executive Director of Marketing, Rx Pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities:

Share accountability for the brand, ensuring that the brand meet or exceed annual revenue and unit forecasts.

Participate in all brand planning and budget meetings and facilitate in the development of brand planning deliverables consistent with strategic brand objectives.

Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the market and competitive landscape; support the business unit in the identification of new brand opportunities.

Work with the ECP brand lead on strategic execution of the brand’s tactical plans.

Lead in the development of marketing promotional materials that are aligned with portfolio/brand plans – i.e. Digital Initiatives, Sales Collateral, Professional Education Materials, Sample Strategy and Conference Planning.

Lead or support internal program/material review process (medical/legal/regulatory).

Oversee effectiveness of programs and initiatives including success tracking criteria and KPIs. Share successes and best practices.

Identifying and turning physician/brand insights into actionable programs that have a beneficial impact on the growth of the business.

Build collaborative relationships with key internal partners (sales, analytics, operations, training, medical, legal, regulatory) and key customers.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience; 1-3 years pharmaceutical marketing experience preferred. Ophthalmic and/or pharmaceutical sales experience a plus.

Proven skills in the following: brand marketing, digital marketing, market and competitive analysis, marketing program development, project management and execution, financial and budget management.

Demonstrated evidence of growing brands, identifying growth opportunities and gaining alignment to execute against a strategic growth plan.

Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines.

Creates value for the customer and focuses on the external environment.

Possesses strategic thinking capabilities that can forge a vision for success and engage others to support that vision.

Ability to manage and lead the matrix and deal with ambiguity, including strong emotional intelligence and communication skills that facilitate decision making and execution.

Demonstrates strong attention to detail.

Strong business acumen.

Have exceptional oral and written communication skills, and be well versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel etc.).

MBA preferred. Undergraduate degree required.

Other Job Requirements: Domestic Travel required, ability to travel overnight ~15%

Note: This role is eligible for our hybrid work schedule allowing for up to 2 days/week of telecommuting from home and 3 days/week in our Bridgewater, NJ corporate office.
