We are looking for a

Product Marketing

Manager

with strong competence in

messaging/positioning, storytelling, and go-to-market strategies

that can drive healthy usage and engagement with our products. This Product Marketing Manager will

leverage

data

to deeply

understand

our

users

as well as our

marketing

performance

, and use this information to help

build

our

consumer narrative

,

marketing enablement resources, and marketing roadmap

work closely

with trusted partners across

business planning, growth, product/engineering, and consumer marketing teams

across other lines of business, both leveraging their expertise and driving consensus around recommended marketing approach.

Responsibilities

As a successful member of this team, you will

be required

**to: **

Own messaging end to end, from developing messaging strategy through to development of marketing enablement resources for channels and marketing partners.

Think creatively about customer/business problems and generate innovative solutions through compelling stories anduser scenarios and that win hearts and minds of our target audiences.

Represent brand voice and tone, product truth, and business opportunity in day-to-day marketing executions through copywriting and marketing campaign reviews.

Lead and execute integrated Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, increase monthly active users, engaged usage and product sentiment for Microsoft Edge.

Live and breathe customer needs research and insights, with a deep understating of customer journeys and market positionsin order torepresent the voice – and needs-- of the customer.

Partner with product subject matter experts across a large organization to collaborate and build consensus around key message and prioritization of features.

Create business partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders in order to devise marketing programs that drive strong business outcomes.

Design data-driven and scalable approaches to iterations on current messaging and positioning.

Work with internal and external partners (inclusive of external marketing agencies) to drive change and execute strategies with passion, precision, and excellence.

Be boldly creative, not afraid to break conventions, push status quo, and experiment.

Provide positive energy and a high degree of ownership. Exhibit a ‘can-do’ attitude in creating smart marketing solutions aligned to business outcomes.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience

Experience with end-to-end ownership of marketing executions, from ideation to launch

Experienced written and verbal data-driven storyteller, that can inform and influence decision marking across senior executives and the broader organization

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience

Experience written and verbal storyteller who can craft product stories for different customer segments and product features

Experience with building messaging frameworks, copywriting and various consumer research methods, identifying insights and recommending data-based solutions

Experience marketing global consumer products

Experience with web/search technologies

Experience with various consumer research methods

Experience working in an ambiguous, undefined space, and defining structure and strategy

Strong collaboration, analytical and critical thinking skills

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
