The incumbent serves as a Technical Publications Writer performing a variety of writing and editing duties in support of the Aircraft Certification Service (AIR).

:Experience writing, revising, or editing technical publications or manuals - proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Word);Experience creating technical instructions or descriptions in a clear and logical manner so it is understandable to non-technical audiences, using various types of source data (manuals, maintenance instructions, tables, flowcharts, or interviews with subject matter experts);Experience with managing projects and meeting metrics for project completion.To qualify for this position at the FV-H band level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G, FG/GS10/11 grade level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes
