Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive pro-active strategies to maximize the revenue through the creation and implementation of special events and promotions while promoting and exhibiting World Class Guest Services.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Creates, writes, and implements exciting and profitable promotions

Manages all special events and working with other Marketing Department Managers to create and implement events.

Reports the effectiveness and profitability of all promotions and special events and promotions in a timely manner accordance to the designated Marketing operating procedures.

Maintains tasks, timeliness, and calendars or schedules for upcoming promotions and specialevents.

Establishes and maintains vendor relationships when coordinating, promoting, and producing on-site promotions and special events.

Sets up and executes promotional events and giveaways; responsible for setup and maintaining all kiosk promotions.

Works directly with Purchasing to order items and supplies for all promotional giveaways and maintains accurate inventories.

Responsible for getting all proper signatures and approvals needed for all special events and promotions

Responsible for responding to and making necessary changes, corrections and responses to audit findings.

Creates tag codes, promotional IDs, and prize IDs, and vouchers or criteria for all promotions in the players club and/or kiosk systems.

Communicates with applicable departments when coordinating special events and promotions.

Responsible for working with the graphics team to create promotional and special event advertisements, game props and/or collateral.

Responsible for proper communications regarding promotions and special events to the public and all team members.

Researches, locates, and purchases all supplies and materials needed for all promotions or special events.

Responsible for hiring and managing promotions and/or any events staff including writing and maintaining schedules and managing payroll requirements any associated overtime.

Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.

Ensures an open and welcoming atmosphere with team members that promotes skill enhancement.

Holds meetings and provides information regarding promotions and special events.

Assists and participates in marketing functions as required.

Occasionally performs duties of subordinates and other duties as need.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degree with Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related fields required.

Three (3) years prior experience in Promotions, Special Events, Entertainment or Sponsorships experience, required.

Five (5) years Marketing, Promotions, or Special Events experience, preferred.

Or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must possess and exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external guests at all times.

Must be able to take direction and feedback well.

Must possess the ability to make sound and accurate decisions.

Must possess strong computer skills and be able to operate Microsoft and Casino Marketplace Database applications and software.

Must be able to accurately and successfully perform several tasks and meet deadlines under high levels of stress and with minimal supervision.

Must possess strong organizational and time management skills while paying close attention to details such as spelling, numbers, and grammar.

Must be able to communicate, in writing and verbally, in English and in an effective, informative, and professional manner.

Must be able to perform basic mathematics to include, but is not limited to, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Must possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills includinghigh integrity and respect for individuals.

Must possess a strong commitment to the organizational goals and objectives while showingthe utmost discretion and loyalty to the organization when dealing with confidential information and data.

Must possess strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
