Travel Nurse RN - PICU in Anchorage, AK

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 60 hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks

**Experience:** 1 year of experience required

**License:** State license in hand not required for offer; pending license accepted

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS

**Must-Have:**- Experience with PICU, Telemetry, Central Line Care, PICC Line Management, ICP Monitoring, Chest Tube, Ventilated Patient, ABG Interpretation

**Job Description:**- Work within a Level 2 Pediatric Intensive Care Unit- No ECMO, open heart surgery, transplants, or CRRT- Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year- Clinicians may be required to float within their scope to meet facility needs- Open to first-time travelers- No on-call requirement; weekend work required- Complete 40 hours of orientation- Free scrub color choice- Utilize EPIC charting system

**Additional Information:**- Facility type: Acute Hospital, Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, recognized as one of the best hospitals- Completion of non-billable modules may require an average of 16 hours; over 20 hours requires approval- References covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are extremely important for clearance- Housing options may be limited in the area, please investigate ahead of time- Only Hep B vaccines accepted, no titers or declinations
